CARDIAC DISORDERS

Reading: Ephesians 2:1-10

What is the most common affliction that bothers people in the United States? Heart problems. Exceed other diseases, these diseases lead to early death.
However, there are even more deadly disease than the non-functioning of the organ that pumps blood throughout our bodies. It is the spiritual heart disease suffered by any person. "All have sinned and come short of God's glory" (Romans 3:23).

This is the diagnosis that Jesus Christ, the greatest cardiac specialists, "From the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, and blasphemy. These things that defile a man" (Matthew 15:19,20).
Echoed his words in Jeremiah 17:9 struggle, "What a cunning heart, more cunning than all things, and his heart was petrified: who can know it?" Diagnosis that includes all people who die in their sins (Ephesians 2:1).
We need a new heart - that we live. But, how did it happen? It requires a touch of restoration of our Lord. God shows His kindness to us in Christ Jesus when He gave His Son to die in our place. He made us live by grace through faith, "That's ... the gift of God" (Ephesians 2:8).
